A terminal box is a device used in air-conditioning and HVAC systems, also referred to as a “wiring center, junction box, or control panel,” which enables automation components (such as thermostats, actuators, pumps, valves, etc.) to be interconnected at a central point and controlled in an organized manner.
It ensures that electrical connections are made safely and neatly. It simplifies complex wiring, as all connections are made through the terminal box. The status of all heating/cooling zones can be monitored via centralized control using the LED indicators located on the terminal box.
